BIOGRAPHY
Taurela are a race of bouldering swamp folk native to the jungle world of Taurel, in the Outer-Rim system of Luux. They are descended from the Carrakar, giant earth titans who carved the world in ancient times. Their appearance varies depending on region and habitat, adapting organic matter to their physiology, most commonly that of wood, stone and moss. Taurela are typically very large, around 8 feet tall on average, with some reaching extraordinary heights akin to that of the great Carrakar.

BIOGRAPHY
Taurela generally lead peaceful lives, maintaining order on their world, overseeing the balance of their ecosystem. They live purely in nature, bearing a strong affinity for all life on Taurel. They are extremely strong and capable of lifting and throwing with incredible force, preferring to use this advantage pacifistically, where possible. Despite their often giant stature, Taurela are incredibly good at blending into their environment, especially in their natural habitat where their appearance often reflects their surroundings.

Often camouflaged in the terrain, Taurela are capable of resting for many years at a time. Those travelling into the swamps of Taurel are cautioned to think twice about any unsuspecting mound, tree, or boulder, as a rude awakening of the Taurela is to be strongly avoided. The planet’s Outer-Rim location makes contact with alien life forms few and far between, with the notable exception of Faewarians.

BIOGRAPHY
Gaia Faewarians have been travelling to Taurel for a millenia to study the natural order of the world and train their abilities in Gaia magic. Passage to the Taurela is granted via a wormhole in the Luuxarian Void, a secret portal guarded by the Gaia in the Gaiagan Kingdom, on Faewar. The two species revel in music and magic, invigorating the world with earth trembling rhythms, resonating deep into the planet’s core.
