BIOGRAPHY
Jalaruna are a race of aquatic people native to the deep sea world of Osharius, in the Outer-Rim system of Luux. They are descended from the water titans who carved the world in ancient times, taking on a diverse array of aquatic hybrid appearances. The Jalaruna mostly reside in underwater cities, their palaces made of crystal and their walls decorated with shining pearls and fish scales. They maintain the balance of their world, living in affinity with many of the sea creatures, riding on the backs of Eldardiles.

Jalaruna live a simple, natural life amongst the ecosystem of the deep. They enjoy their own forms of culture, participating in rituals of music and magic. The music of the Jalaruna is orchestrated entirely in subharmonic frequencies, audible only to those with adapted hearing. Osharius has no land mass above water, making access to the underwater civilisation via spacecraft all but impossible. The only known way is via a wormhole in the Luuxarian Void, a secret portal guarded by the Jala in the Selinor Kingdom, on Faewar.

Despite their aquatic qualities, Jalaruna are genetically similar to the Faewarian people. For a millenia, Jala Faewarians have made the journey to Osharius to study the ancient texts and train their abilities in Jala magic. The compassionate nature of the element allows for a deep connection between the Jalaruna and the Faewarians, who are able to communicate telepathically through manipulation of underwater frequency waves. The Jalaruna have even taught Jala Faewarians how to harness the powers of aquatic transformation.
