Empathia is the glorious capital of Faewar, known as the city of light, with its great walls of crystal and stone. It is home to Faewarian diplomacy and the legendary Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is considered by some to be the musical centre of the Outer-Rim. A grand facility, hosting hundreds within its walls, thousands more living within its district. It has traditionally served as a great school of magic, with houses for each of the six elements, overseen by wise old masters correlating to each one. These six great elders make up the Arcane council, who guide the Faewarian people through their stoic wisdom and mastery of divination.

Sanctuary is home to arguably the most sophisticated recording studio in the Celestial Sea, albeit it intangible to the majority, who find it engraved on their favourite records. At the heart of the building is a great arena, legendary amongst the Faewarians and mythical to the outside worlds, it has hosted many of the grandest rituals in the history of music.
