BIOGRAPHY
Grundle Bumfist, formerly Grundle Gripsson, is a Gydunian from the planet Vlagorix IV. Grundle is the frontman of the increasingly popular Blurdskrerm band, Black Tongue Bile, in which he performs with the Faewarian composer Gaius Black.

BIOGRAPHY
Grundle began life on the harsh colony world of Vlagorix IV as one of millions of low-born menials known as Vlags. Born into the obscure Grips bloodline, he is the son of Zed Gripsson. Like all Vlags, Grundle’s youth was rough and lacked formal education, his knowledge coming from experience and on-the-job training. Upon reaching adolescence at the age of four years old, he was pressed into the employ of Dukunk Heavy Plant like his family before him. By adulthood at six he was adept at operating many large machines leading to a career as a rock hauler driver at Quality Underground Iron Mining, a career he supplemented with income from his band ‘Trullhammer,’ in which he performed under the alias of Bumfister.

After a time Grundle grew tired of the exploitation and mistreatment by Dukunk and he decided that he would seek that under a different employer. Rather than find a company to work for as most of his compatriots would, Grundle elected to take on the markings of a drifter, one who aligned themselves with no organisation and sought ad-hoc work for anybody that would pay.

This path led Grundle to the bulk hauler ship, the Feisty Maiden, where he would work as a labourer under Captain Glorkshmack. A fateful encounter with Gaius Black would lead to the formation of Black Tongue Bile and the emergence of a latent power within Grundle. The new found power would lead the band to Gydunia where Grundle sought the help of the Blurdskrerm priests, who sent Grundle to train so that he could harness what lay within.

Armed with new strength and an understanding of what he was required to do, he decided to return to the mine where he had toiled so that he could show the workers that change was possible and necessary. After successfully convincing the workers to rise up against their abusers, Grundle felt ready to close that chapter of his life and join Gaius Black in his work to change the Celestial Sea forever…
